  1. This worked really well for me. The extra rear downforce certainly made it more stable through the twists and turns. I managed to get 1:25.621 in qualifying. Not enough for pole position but good enough for 5th place and only +0.381 off pole, which was much better than i was expecting! Even better was starting from 3rd due to grid penalties for Hamilton and Gasly who had both qualified ahead of me 🙂 I finished 2nd in the race and snatched the fastest lap on the final lap on old medium tyres, no DRS and full "party mode", with a time of 1:27.889. This set-up was so tyre friendly that i stayed out 2 laps longer on the softs than my main rivals, and just managed to come out in front of Vettel after my pit stop. That jumped me from 3rd to 2nd. I'm playing in career mode, 95% AI, fully spec'd Mercedes and using an XBox controller on PC.
  2. Team: Mercedes Lap Time: 1:17.181 Short Qualification (only needed 1 lap to post this time and it wasn't perfect. i think sub 1.17 may be possible). Qualified in pole position, 0.734 ahead of 2nd place Lap Time: 1:19.680 in the race with 6 lap old medium tyres (in "party mode") Race Mode: Career (all car modifications fitted); AI 95% Weather: Dry Controller Type: XBox controller (for PC) Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero: 1 Rear Wing Aero: 3 Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle: 65% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 100% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -2.50 Rear Camber: -1.50 Front Toe: 0.07 Rear Toe: 0.20 Suspension Font Suspension: 1 Rear Suspension: 1 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 6 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 6 Front Ride Height: 2 Rear Ride Height: 3 Brakes Brake Pressure: 90% Front Brake Bias: 54% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 21.8psi Rear Tyre Pressure: 20.3psi I actually meant to change Front Aero to 2 as i think that would be even better for the last corner, etc. but stuck to the above due to parc ferme ** changed the front wing to 2 at the pit stop and posted the fastest lap of the race a few laps later, so i think the 2:2 setting for front and rear wings may be best overall
  3. Another great set-up for Mercedes. I managed a 1.41.633 in the Qualifying Sim programme. The only thing i changed was adding a touch more front wing (4:4 instead of 3:4) to make the car slightly more agile through sector 2. This improved on my previous best time by around 0.8 seconds! My fastest lap in the race was 143.046 on fresh medium tyres, and i finished in 1st place. My Mercedes has full upgrades and AI is 95%. Using an XBox controller on PC.
  4. Thanks for this set-up, it's perfect! Silverstone is a track a rarely do well at, but i got 1.24.548 for pole position in qualifying. Using an XBox controller on PC and AI set at 95%. My Mercedes has all upgrades applied. Now to see how i get on in the race...
  5. This worked great for me. I got 1.06.663 in qualifying, which gave me pole position over Hamilton by 0.332 seconds in my Mercedes. Managed to finish 1st in the race with best of 1.09.358, although i was on the defensive for a lot of the second half of the race. AI on 95% and using an Xbox controller.
