  1. I am officially hosting a F1 2018 League as Part of NXT GEN RACING (NGR) League. Brief Details: Console - PS4 15 Race Season Thursday 8pm UK Time Starting on 29th November 2018 Finishing on 14th March 2019 3 Stage Qualifying 25% Race Distance If you want to take part. 1. You MUST first join NGR on Facebook here 2. Once you joined, go to the event page here and confirm your going
  2. Team: Sauber Lap Time: 1:27.148 Race Mode: Career Weather: Dry Controller Type: PS4 Controller Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero: 4 Rear Wing Aero: 5 Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle: 90% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 75% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -3.20 Rear Camber: -1.70 Front Toe: 0.12 Rear Toe: 0.35 Suspension Front Suspension: 7 Rear Suspension: 5 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 7 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 5 Front Ride Height: 4 Rear Ride Height: 5 Brakes Brake Pressure: 85% Front Brake Bias: 53% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 22.6psi Rear Tyre Pressure: 21.5psi Weight Distribution Ballast: 6 Note Getting the 1:27.1 was a miracle as I was consistently in the 1:27.8s no matter how much I pushed the car but after making some ride height and front wing adjustments, it seemed to be stable during Q1 and Q2, so in Q3, did a 1:27.6 got me P6 then on next lap after putting fresh rubber on I some how got pole. This ain't my greatest of tracks. Managed a one stopper. started on Softs, did 26 laps and rest on medium. Lap times was very consistent until lap 26 where on pit in lap, tyres just fell off the cliff and lost a extra 0.4 seconds in first 2 sectors alone. By the time LeClerc made his 2nd stop, I was just 5 seconds ahead and we were jostling for positions but with 10 laps to go, LeClerc manage to get ahead and pull away as my Mediums were starting to wear a little as I pushed hard at the start of the stint to not be overcutted. In practice, quali and race, I was a couple tenths slower in first sector but then made it up in the last 2 sectors as I can never nail turns 1 and 2 but was flying in the curve section of sector 2 and was very fast down the 3 main straights.
  3. Team: Sauber Lap Time: 1:21.459 Race Mode: Career Weather: Dry Controller Type: PS4 Controller Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero: 7 Rear Wing Aero: 7 Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle: 80% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 75% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -2.60 Rear Camber: -1.10 Front Toe: 0.07 Rear Toe: 0.23 Suspension Front Suspension: 8 Rear Suspension: 5 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 8 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 5 Front Ride Height: 4 Rear Ride Height: 5 Brakes Brake Pressure: 80% Front Brake Bias: 55% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 22.2psi Rear Tyre Pressure: 21.1psi Weight Distribution Ballast: 7 Note Managed this time in Q2 on SS. Thought I could make it into q3 as initially no one was improving but then all of a sudden as flag came out. 5 people improved and got p11. Could got into 1:20s but was conservative in practice and didn't nailed it in q1. Was forced onto 2 stopper of doing 2 14 lap stints on US or Ai would of undercut me. They were at at most 50% worn. Put SS on on Lap 29 and they were 60% worn at the end. narrowly got the win against 101 Ai difficulty as top 5 was only covered by 0.78 seconds come chequered flag.
  4. Sorry just noticed my mistake. I always been with Sauber but forgot to change it. I been getting same issue. Especially on exit of turn 7 onto long straight. Lost time on acceleration but then made up going down. I think it just the change of handling from 2017 to 18 where it made it more challenging. I am either spinning back wheels, going wide as result going on to early or just slow.
  5. 7 I just couldn't get enough power down, either understeering or get it right but just not having the speed. 8 was good but kept going wide through nine and ended getting a 5 sec penalty, I tried attacking the kerbs as it fastest way I can get around here.
  6. This was a difficult track for me, I found it default had tons of understeer, to tried to make the setup a little loose. Glad people like it.
  7. Team: Mercedes Lap Time: 1:34.850 Race Mode: Career Weather: Dry Controller Type: PS4 Pad Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero: 6 Rear Wing Aero: 6 Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle: 78% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 75% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -2.70 Rear Camber: -1.20 Front Toe: 0.10 Rear Toe: 0.35 Suspension Font Suspension: 9 Rear Suspension: 5 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 7 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 6 Front Ride Height: 4 Rear Ride Height: 4 Brakes Brake Pressure: 83% Front Brake Bias: 54% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 23.0psi Rear Tyre Pressure: 21.9psi Weight Distribution Ballast: 7 Note Took me some time to fine tune this set up as P2 was only representable session as P1 and P3 was 35 degrees C plus. Consistently got low to mid 1:35s in quali sim plus Q1, Q2 and first 2 laps in Q3. However, on last run, clipped every kerb and rode on them like a beauti and got my first time in 1:34s. Race was a bit difficult but thankfully, there was 3 safety cars. Lap 10 after Kimi had puncture, so putted SS on. On Lap 35, my team mate retired and caused SC to come out. Putted US on and ran to the end by driving like hell to get P3.
  8. Thanks. tried 2 different camber and toe assortments. Both worked well for me but the main one was better for me. Down to people's preference
  9. As far as I am aware, only way to start a new career is to create a new driver. You still have data from driver safe 1 but you can get fresh start ny creating a 2nd driver safe.
  10. Team: Sauber Lap Time: 1:07.989 Race Mode: Career Weather: Dry Controller Type: PS4 Pad Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero: 4 Rear Wing Aero: 5 Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle:80% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 75% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -3.40 Rear Camber: -1.90 Front Toe: 0.12 Rear Toe: 0.38 Suspension Font Suspension: 8 Rear Suspension: 7 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 6 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 5 Front Ride Height: 4 Rear Ride Height: 4 Brakes Brake Pressure: 85% Front Brake Bias: 52% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 22.2 Rear Tyre Pressure: 21.1 Weight Distribution Ballast: 7 Note This was quite a good set up for me. No tyre issues in practice. Slightly loose around sector 2 but I prefer a slightly loose set up around here. Was planning to do a 1 stopper of SS-Medium after having good pace on first 15 laps, however, rained was forcasted, so decide to stretch, to lap 25, pitted for inters and increased front wing by 2. Stopped raining on Lap 32 and Dried by Lap 34. Softs could last 37 Laps but risked going onto slower Medium and pushed like hell. Got P2 due to most of field starting on SS, pitted for S or SS before it rained. Front right did slightly overheat on SS, but nothing uncomfortable to manage.
  11. Team: Sauber Lap Time: 1:14.249 Race Mode: Career Weather: Dry Controller Type: PS4 Pad Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero: 6 Rear Wing Aero: 5 Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle:80% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 75% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -2.80 Rear Camber: -1.30 Front Toe: 0.09 Rear Toe: 0.38 Suspension Font Suspension: 8 Rear Suspension: 5 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 8 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 5 Front Ride Height: 4 Rear Ride Height: 4 Brakes Brake Pressure: 85% Front Brake Bias: 53% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 21.8psi (21.4 if track is Hot) Rear Tyre Pressure: 20.3psi Weight Distribution Ballast: 7 Note The is best set up I can get for this track whilst focusing on not just speed but as well as how car handles the twisty sections of the track. In terms of race, weather was 34 degress C, meaning tyres did overheat (might move front tyre PSI back by a notch), HS lasted 15 laps after overheating by lap 10 and couldn't control it. Did 26 Laps on US as eventhough front left tyre was at 103-105 degrees C, it felt very good against the rest of pack by being about 0.1 secs a lap faster than the rest, but Red Bull pitted for SS and there 2nd sector time was way faster than mine, so I pitted on Lap 41 and managed to Overtake Verstappen with 2 Laps to go for a win.
  12. Team: Sauber Lap Time: 1:32.445 Race Mode: Career Weather: Dry Controller Type: Pad Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero: 5 Rear Wing Aero: 3 (Or 4 if there if it over steers too much) Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle: 80% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 75% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -3.20 Rear Camber: -1.70 Front Toe: 0.13 Rear Toe: 0.38 Suspension Font Suspension: 7 Rear Suspension: 8 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 4 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 5 Front Ride Height: 4 Rear Ride Height: 5 Brakes Brake Pressure: 87% Front Brake Bias: 53% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 23.0psi Rear Tyre Pressure: 21.9psi Weight Distribution Ballast: 7 Note In race, there was high tyre wear but wasn't just me, Ai had similar issues with track being so hot, the tyres didn't last long. Did 13 laps on US the put SS on up to Lap 30 as that was when Mercedes and Ferrari all pitted for softs and had a second a lap advantage on me, so I pitted for softs and had the most intense last 25 laps of battling the 2 ferraris and hamilton for the win. Came P2 against Ai difficulty 95. This was one hell of a lap to get all together. I did time a 1:32.1 but did went wide on last couple corners and may of gained a couple of tenths obviously. So second best was this time and at least 2 wheels stayed on the track through sectors 1 and 3.
  13. Team: Sauber Lap Time: 1:29.109 Race Mode: Career Weather: Dry Controller Type: Pad Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero:6 Rear Wing Aero: 5 Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle: 80% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 75% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -2.80 Rear Camber: -1.30 Front Toe: 0.09 Rear Toe: 0.32 Suspension Font Suspension: 9 Rear Suspension: 5 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 7 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 6 Front Ride Height: 4 Rear Ride Height: 5 Brakes Brake Pressure: 85% Front Brake Bias: 55% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 23.0psi Rear Tyre Pressure: 21.5psi Weight Distribution Ballast: 6 Note Didn't have a lot of time to get a perfect set up as P1 and most of P2 was wet. However, got this set up and works fairly well for me. Some might want to up tyres by 1 notch to the right. With this set up, could confortably do a 2 stopper of SS to S then SS. However, it rained a lot earlier than forcasted. This is one of my weakest tracks as I know a few tenths can be found in the S curves as well as a tenth or two in hairpin of turn 11. Overall, I say good set up. Tried few others but car didn't like it. A bit of tweaking and fairly stable and fast.
  14. Team: Sauber Lap Time: 1:32.530 Race Mode: Career Weather: Dry Controller Type: Pad Aerodynamics Front Wing Aero: 6 Rear Wing Aero: 5 Transmission Differential Adjustment On Throttle: 50% Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 70% Suspension Geometry Front Camber: -3.30 Rear Camber: -1.80 Front Toe: 0.15 Rear Toe: 0.50 Suspension Font Suspension: 8 Rear Suspension: 9 Front Anti-Roll Bar: 5 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 6 Front Ride Height: 5 Rear Ride Height: 6 Brakes Brake Pressure: 85% Front Brake Bias: 54% Tyres Tyres Front Tyre Pressure: 21.4psi Rear Tyre Pressure: 19.9psi Weight Distribution Ballast: 7 Note If you don't like the camber and toe then try -2.60 and -1.10 for Camber. 0.08 and 0.29 for Toe In race, could done a 1 stopper but Hamilton hit me on Lap 5 meaning lost a wing, so converted to a 2 stopper. Whether it's track or set up, HS can degrade a little quicker than expected. With US, the car loved it. Can be agressive as long as you don't destroy tyres through sweeoing left and the 2 right angle turns after that. That is where the tyres wear most on this track if you go too wide.
