If you enjoyed this track and spent a lot of time running it last year, you're going to struggle to adjust this season. Last year you were able to cut over every kerb, similar to the last 2 corners in Sochi, however they have been raised now, so you need to take a much later apex. It takes a while to get used to, but if you enter too early and hit the kerb, it bumps the car quite a lot and your lap is over. There's a lot more time to be made with this setup, I've been able to hit every corner perfectly and make up .050-0.1 on them but unfortunately it's never been on the same lap. I was nearly 4 tenths up in the first sector one lap and then completely messed up the castle section, so the extra time is definitely there. 

Setup will work will in a race, just take it easier on the corners to preserve the tyres. I'd probably lower the front wing a little and up the brake pressure too, just to make sure you don't get completely destroyed on the long straight.

It's cause the Renault engine is under powered, even in the force India I lose time down the straight to the finish line but it only drops slowly, try to drive smooth and stay off the curbs in the first two sectors and go in to the long straight with about a 1.4 positive green time so it don't go down much as you cross the line, hope that helps

under powered is an euphemism... it's like driving an Espace not a F1's car. Thanks, i'll try my best

Ok buddy no probs, I had to learn where to turn in early and coast the corner at speed and keep smooth, try and try and it will start to flow 👍

You definitely don't want to be turning in early anywhere on this track, avoid the kerbs at all cost, they'll ruin your time

Oh god no don't run the curbs at all, if you run the curbs you will be eating barrier and race over, when I meant turn early but not hitting the curbs but the apex slightly, I found slow (but not too slow) and smooth is the key, get in a rythem let it flow and as for the castle section, well just hope and prey at a reasonable speed and glide through there as the sun blinds your vision you make it in one pieace. 

Oh and I find using helmet cam view helps
