Intial try. did good qualy on intermediate. got pole easily on unknown track to me. I beliee that with the lotus the gears could be even closer more to a 300kph top.

Did a 1:39.902 without DRS and got pole in practice with Massa & Vettel 3.337 sec behind me (i wasnt expecting that)...the only problems with the setup are that the brakes heat up a bit in S3 (same with the engine) but it cools down enough in S1 and S2, and the other problem is in the last corner...with little tyre wear its not much of a problem, but i think as the tyres get more and more used, the car might spin if the corner is taken with too much speed, so i'd suggest easing in on the last corner or the track...this is pure speculation from what i saw in practice...i cant test it in the race because i got a wet qualifying session and wet race...hope i'll manage to stay ahead...

Guest CheezItEater

This is my first post. First off, I would like to say "Thank You" to Cr4zy. Your setups have been great. I like your Singapore setup with the following tweeks:

Brake change to Medium Pressure (the High Press was too much for my driving style)
I shortened the gear ratios because the 150 Italia was getting hung up in 2nd thru multiple corners and I was hitting the limiter halfway down the first straight.

I managed a 1:39.408 without DRS or KERS. I know I can do better, but the walls keep jumping out at me!

Thanks again Cr4zy....keep em com'n.

the gear ratios are different for each car (most of them anyway) and from track to track and also depend on the wings of the car, thats why mine didnt fit your car...higher wings = lower gearing (slow but stable), lower wings = higher gearing (fast but twitchy)

Race: 1:40.779*

Notes
First of all, this is my first post and I would like to say thanks to everyone who posts set-ups here. It has helped me a ton!

The gears above are for a NON-DRS lap (IE, the race); for DRS move 7th up 3, and adjust the others to match. I felt race-pace was good with this set-up, and tyre wear wasnt too bad. The Engineer recommended a 4 stopper, but I switch to a (start race on Options) Prime (lap 5), Prime (lap 15), Option (lap 25) strategy. In Q3, I got 5th 0.020 behind 4th, but decided to save my last set of Options for the race, and didn't do a second qualy run. This gave me 3 sets of new tyres for my 3 stops. *I think I could have gotten a better Best Lap in the race, but because I had a nice lead when I came out of my 3rd stop, I didnt feel the need to push. I had fuel saved for some Rich running on my fresh Options in the last stint in case I needed it, but decided to go Lean and just "bring it home" nice and safe instead.

EDIT: I ran my race last night with Sauber, so to get the setup I quickly went into a single GP with a Red Bull. As I was sitting in the garage anyway, I decided to do a quick run to see what time I can get. This was the first time for me driving outside of the Career, and wow, what a difference it was. Did a 1:36.783, but had a few too many laps of fuel on board, wasn't totally used to the car yet, and wasn't a perfect lap. So think I could prob shave another 0.5 (or more?) from that time.

This is my new setup for Ferrari on this track. I have been experimenting with using more brake bias on the rear for stability. It really seems to work well with all the "opposite lock" on this track. Consistently faster than equal bias. Also using small brake discs instead of standard size gives you just a bit more "bite".

zk92000's setup is working well for me in the Toro Rosso, went from 1.41.458 to 1.38.664 (default -> setup) using Fuel Mix 2, Prime tyres and 10 laps of fuel.

May try someone else's setup but leave the gears and see how that

This is my first post. First off, I would like to say "Thank You" to Cr4zy. Your setups have been great. I like your Singapore setup with the following tweeks:

Brake change to Medium Pressure (the High Press was too much for my driving style)
I shortened the gear ratios because the 150 Italia was getting hung up in 2nd thru multiple corners and I was hitting the limiter halfway down the first straight.

I managed a 1:39.408 without DRS or KERS. I know I can do better, but the walls keep jumping out at me!

Thanks again Cr4zy....keep em com'n.

i agree. Cr4zy has some badass setups. I used ur set up on a Force India and tweeked the gears and got a 1.36.882 in qualy. Enough for second on the grid behind alonso. Finished 2nd in the race behind petrov. I crossed the line 3rd but Vettel got a 20sec penalty for crashing into me just at the right hander at end of S1.
