Note

Didn't have a lot of time to get a perfect set up as P1 and most of P2 was wet. However, got this set up and works fairly well for me. Some might want to up tyres by 1 notch to the right. With this set up, could confortably do a 2 stopper of SS to S then SS. However, it rained a lot earlier than forcasted. This is one of my weakest tracks as I know a few tenths can be found in the S curves as well as a tenth or two in hairpin of turn 11.

Overall, I say good set up. Tried few others but car didn't like it. A bit of tweaking and fairly stable and fast.

Nice setup! Very good on tyres and fitted my Sauber perfectly. Q1=1:29.885, Q2=1:29.840. Could probably have decreased the time by one second late in Q3 but had to settle for 11th, edging out Leclerc by 2 thousands of a second. Both me and Leclerc finished 2&3 respectively because of great race pace behind Räikönnen.

As always my laps are done in Time Trial so that other people who may be trying to create a setup for themselves have a baseline to go off in terms of lap time for a stock standard Sauber. Obviously by this point in Career a Sauber will be much more upgraded and therefore post a much quicker time in qualifying, especially with regular corner cutting rules.

As for this track, I absolutely fkn hate it with a passion. The S’s here and in USA give me so much grief with a controller, I honestly think I could go sub 1:30 with a wheel in Sauber. The 1/1 Suspension I find is crucial for attacking the kerbs, especially the final chicane where so much time can be gained or lost.

In years past I’ve always poached Styx50’s setups (as I did here before making a few mods). This year I’ve been using his Ferrari F1-2017 on Sauber in career mode. I tweet each of his for feel as the handling changed over the 17’ game.

So for anyone using Sauber this year, I’d recommend you check out Styx50’s 2017 setups on this site.

Great setup. Just having a little issue through the esses. Reduced the differential.

this set up is brilliant for tyre wear and speed and grip. Beware of late braking into hairpin after degna 2 bumpy track-lockup’s but ease on the brakes go a hair wide and all is good. Try both aero to see which suits you best?
