just signed up to say i got a 1.10.873 in the williams with same set-up as tom(thanks tom) plus tweakin gears just as THESTIG mentioned

So overall very helpful

I got 1.13.923 in a Williams during the race, without DRS. I know I could go down to 1.13.0 with more practice. And this is my first season, so good setup.

I put down 1:11's in qualy, was very consistent for the race, and just barely won....Webber and Hamilton were in my mirrors the whole race. Career mode Professional AI, Williams, PS3.....if I set it to Legend, I get smoked....what the h$ll is going on? Seems like I have the opposite problem with ai speeds as everyone else...I know my times are good....used Crazy's setup with gear tweaks and medium brake press....fuel, tire, and tcs sims ON.

@tom_laan Your setup is hybrid, it was dry for the first 43 laps and consistency was around the 1:10.500. It rained lightly on 44-52 makes use of the intermediate tyres i was setting times at 1:12.200 and from 53-71 the rain battered the track making use of the WET tyres i quickly continued setting times coinsising 15 1:13.800. I was bored [NOTE] this was on the easy setting. The race was 1 hour and 32 minutes, i pitted 5 times and lapped the others between 8 - 13 times, this is how it panned out:

The thing about Brazil is the track is developed for fast cars, they are about 3-4 breaking corners which you can gain time as a slower car (williams, Lotus etc.). If you are playing on Legend then you won't win because (Ferrari, Red Bull etc.) the others have faster cars and the track is all about speed, these set-ups will work for a few tenths, but it wont go from winning on Professional to winning on Legend because of the way the track is set-out....
