I reckon this is one of the most annoying tracks in the game. I hate playing it, but I have to in career mode.

lol u dont have to you could allways just get disqualified :S .....
i used this setup in my first 2 seasons in a lotus and i qualified on pole both times :S i personally dont see the problem with it ... ts even faser now im in red bull ;)

Hi guys
This is my first post on this site so I thought I'd try to make it a good one.
Im running my P2 session at Silverstone testing 5 different setups and recoding the times for each before the big race.
Im driving the Virgin in my first season in career mode and Im using the PS3 controler but using the D-Pad for steering controls, old habits die hard!!
Anyway, I've just posted a 1:37:527 using the following setup

Front angle 1
Rear angle 1

If any of the other setups are better I'll post that one here later but I dont see me bettering that time

=)

Corners are where you'll find your speed. Don't follow the racing line the computer gives you. It lies in some crucial sections. For example, if you turn in earlier for the second last corner, you can take it in fourth gear at about 160 to 170 kph, instead of second or third gear at 130ish. Also, an earlier turn in stops you from being spot over the little grass verge and off the track.

With the engineer setup, I posted a 1:36.413. With James' setup, a 1:34.582. With the higher wing angles, a 1:33.967. These times are in a Mercedes on professional, no driver aides.

....Stops you from being SPIT over, not spot over. Damn IPhail autocorrect.

And I love this track. It's fast and reasonably easy once you get the hang of it. Practice til your fingers cramp. Then practice some more. ^_^
