i notice this set up works well with Force India but works better for Mclaren
this set up is best my style maximise corner grip and sacrifice straight line speed as most of the track is slow corners so wors well for wet or dry weather as i had a wet qualifying session and a dry race. i did a 100% race on Professional and noticed it does eat your tires but if you get the pit stops right its like a qualifying lap every lap :) i did a 3 stop stratagy which no thanks to my teams recomendations -_- there pedictions were wrong

Pit Stops
Started on Options 100%

  • Lap 31 Options 100%
  • Lap 44 Options 100%

Finished on Lap 58 First place 13 seconds ahead of Second Place Mark Webber

With this set up I did an 1:24.309 for Red Bull on carrer Qualifying. I did had a fuel load of 5 laps. I did slighty ajust the last 3 gears, front and rear suspension stiffness and the aerodynamics. It's good but a bit grippy with my racing style. I was able to pull off 14 laps with the Option (Soft) compound tyres and I lasted 24 Laps on Prime (Hard) compound tyres. Good set up for your first go.

Hello! I'm new here, i've read all this topic but did not found anyone who plays on expert level?
Does anyone have setup for expert level in Australia? (it would be nice for Force India :) )
By Expert level I mean:
Braking Assist: OFF
ABS: OFF
Traction Control: OFF
Racing Line : OFF
Gearbox: Manual

And with wheel and pedals (not keyboard). It's great difference.

The more realistic the more pleasure.

Online EQUAL car mode: Qualy times between 1:21:8's down to 21:2's

You could prob play around with Aero for a 1:20, but then the nature of the setup requires you to be balls out with DRS open at every possible chance.

For RACE: drop the Aero to an 8/8, and maybe shorten the 7th gear a couple notches...

I tried your setup with my Mercedes in Saison 3 (keyboard, legend AI).

Practise (hard tyres, normal fuel mix): 1:24.900, 7th postion.

I'm just too slow in sector 3 but I always was. I got purple times in sector 1 & 2 several times but then had other cars slowing me down.

Qualifying (soft tyres, rich fuel mix): 1:23.444, 1st postion :-)

Race (started with soft tyres of course, normal fuel mix): I was too slow to pull away from the start and Webbers nose never left my gearbox. We stopped at the same lap for tyre change and he overtook me in the pits while I had to let pass other cars. Then he pulled slightly away and I thought I had no chance to get him. But somehow I managed to gain some speed and reduced the gap to less than a second so I could use DRS. Therefore I had my fastest lap, a 1:25.044 (only Vettel was faster with 1:25.015) and soon after that, in the second last lap, I caught Webber (without DRS) and the victory was mine. :-)

Not too bad for not driving at all over half a year. So I guess I could have been even a little faster with your setup.
