hi guys.im wondering if anybody else is having the same problems as me.im playing on f12012 on ps3 with a gamepad.i am on legend difficulty with autogears brake assist off tc on full and abs on.i have tried every setup on here for the williams and i get the same results all the time.in Q1 i get a perfect flying lap. the car feels great.but then when i continue onto my second lap the car just keeps spinning out despite me driving exactly the same as the previous lap.also after making it to Q2 every time i cannot seem to get a flying lap complete even on fresh tyres.i consistently spin out at turns 1 and 2. if im lucky and get past turns 1 and 2 i spin at turn 3. i love this game but it is getting very frustrating im not sure if it is a bug or not.

Q3: 1:27:477 on Options (made a small mistake at turn 3 which costs about 0.2) 0.4 above Hamilton at pole, starts from 7th

Edit: I managed only 16th at the race, losing 8 positions at the last few laps due to accident and safety car. Race speed was not too strong, I didn't have the choice to finish better than 6th-7th.

Car feels really stable and has a lot of grip, but suffers when need sudden direction changes at turn 11-12. Also got a little understeer. Setup protects the tyres well.

I tried this setup in practice with difficulty on inter (still learning to deal with the understeer) and managed a 1:31.773 on worn primes
Not bad in all but a bit tricky once the tyres are nearly worn out

Found this setup to be both completely free of understeer and great fun to drive! Can really throw it into corners and drive aggressively which is awesome :D Best time for me was a low 1:24, but that could be improved on slightly, only went around 3 times after all. Trying to get the best setups together for each track so keep an eye on other track threads if you like this one. Have fun racing!

When I have AI set to Professional at other tracks I can quali on the Pole, but during the race some cars are doing faster lap times then pole  (1/2 a sec or more) and tires appear to drop off faster...

Any helpful ideas?

The low Cambers are for handling as my experience with the MR01 is that of lots of understeer. Get on the DRS as soon as possible to get the fastest time, this setup is extremely stable.

I qualified 22nd on my first Legend AI race and in a race simulation i got 1:33.873 on PRIMES and a 1:32.911 on OPTIONS.

Time can probably be improved by 1.5 seconds with Manual gearbox and racing wheel?

First time poster so go easy on me :P

I Make/use setups that work for all game modes, if you feel uncomfortable with my settings then bump up the front wing to 3 but nothing more than that as aerodynamics on this game are useless

Difficulty: Legend (No Assists)

Aero: 1,1

Braking 48-52 High Standard

Balance 1-11

Suspension 1,1 11,11

Gearing: All gears to the far right

Allignment

Camber: Far Left

Toe: Far right

As I said I make these setups myself and I use them in all gamemodes - Career, Time Trial and Online. I also make Setup Videos on Youtube where I put in a hotlap of how to get around the track too. I'll attach a link below this but hopefully it works! Goodluck!

You don't mention the times you set. I tried this setup and as I've been off the game a few months, i'm finding I can only just scrape under 1.:30.00 with a full battery of kers , no DRS.

On my set-up i'm quicker in the 1:25's (using KERS & DRS)

I think that if your set-up suits your style, you should head to time trials, see what the highest speed you can hit with your settings, then taylor the box a little better to the track. No point having 50kmph left in the tank if your never getting there. Set 7th just above your highest attained speed, and 1st for the slowest corner. Then I tend to space the gears 27-32 kmph apart max to give good acceleration. I think it will improve your lap times
