Hi Guys, jumped straight from F1 2010 to 2012 on Xbox and am totally confused about car setups and Park ferme, seem to do some fantastic lap times in practice and qualifying then get thrashed out of sight during the race, any tips or advice would be welcomed. Thanks

Hello guys, I'm new here, and I'm desperate, already tried everything and can not get good times with my Toro Rosso. Someone knows how to ride a good setup for that car?

Think there's quite a lot of room for improvement with this set up.  Posted both lap times within 3 laps of exiting the pits so I still had 6 laps of fuel on board.  Also, I think the Aero could lower to a 3 or maybe even a 2 without impacting too heavily on cornering grip.  Depends on if you want to fight the track a little more than you have to.

EDIT:  Dropped the Front Wing Aero to 2 and Rear Wing Aero to 3.  Fastest time I managed was a 1:25.221 using KERS and DRS.

Car: Red Bull

Assists: ABS & Full Traction Control

Note:

Don't mind the soft springs and the high toes. They balance each other out, giving a nice setup which you can handle roughly and get fast times by taking the car to the edge.

Really good for qualifying, and stable and fast in race paces.

Time

1:26.505 (first try in Q1, didnt have time to try Q2 and Q3, but i was +1.311 seconds faster than Alonso in second (legend))

This set up was tested with a ferrari but will work with other teams although
you might to mess with areo

Areo:1,1

Brake balance:48f,52r
Brake pressure:high
Brake size:standard

Ride hight: 1f,1r
Spring stifness: 5f,6r

Balance: 5f,9r

Gearing is were it gets a bit complicated
Slide 1st all the way to the right, than slide 3 spots to
the left. Then, position the rest of the gears so that each gear
1 spot to the left of the previous gear. The exception to this is 7th,
wich is 2 spots to the left of 6th.

Camber, f,r
-3.5,-1.2

Toe, f,r
