setups not bad, but the car still understeers agressively round the majority of the track and even pushing the car tothe limit im still running 2.9 seconds off the pace. and so the search continues for the perfect catalunya steup.

Same here. Using a Williams in my 1st year & am seriously off the pace, even the Hispania's & Lotus's can't wait to get by me. Tried tweaking the gearing, downforce etc, but whatever happens the car runs out of track when turnng. I finally qualified 13th, with little fuel, but always get mugged at the start usually dropping to 15th even with heavy defensive driving  . Turns 7 & 8 is usually where the accidents happen for the AI, while at 9, I might as well be standing still. 14 & 15 aren't so bad, so long as the suspension is soft enough to take the curb.

Anyone got a good setup for a Williams?

Have read that Spain & Monaco have similar bugs. What joy. ;)

Run with Med TC and ABS on - must say this setup is very unforgiving, after many laps spin in last chikane or understeer in the first chikane, i got it spot on and super lap with Sauber 1.21:080

You have to watch the last chicane dont go over the inside curb you will always spin out.

you right mate, dead slippery inside curb there.. not impossible to run them over if got rear of the car some bounce outside (effect caused by previous curve hard braking whilst turning in!) and so straighten up before just before actual stepping on gas again
