After loads of changes and many spins i finally came on to this setup, now i aint a pro at this game so please be bare with this. As i do this i am going in to qualifing. I topped the time seet in Practice with a 1m 20.320, which was .300 faster than Alonso. Practice was wet at the beginning which made it rather fun / annoying whith all the spins. You do need to be careful as the rear in can still get out of shape, so you nead to be patient round the corners. I used Drs when possible and kers when on the final straight. The long left hand corner before the first secter split can be tricky as very bumpy and my unstable the car.

P.S : I got this setup when it was wet and had wet tyres ( Blue ) on, than dried and i gave this setup a try to see what time i got which was the 1m 20. The race is meant to be raining so will see how it gets on.

very stable race-setup, only damaged my front wing one time. Almost fastest lap 1.16.6 with prime.

On time-trial i did 1.12.838 with ManF191 setup and Mclaren, but this setup is very unstable, tested with Toro Rosso
a few laps and only got 1.15.4, to much understeer.

Best time set with this setup 1:17.6xx

Time set in race including an overtake. Car stays planted through most of the track, care needed in turn one with the throttle and not too much curb. Then at the fast left hander in the bay (after the tunnel exit chicane) run slightly wide or that bump will spin the car every time!! If any one figures out a steering and suspension geometry , that will go over it without unsettling the car please let me know.
I reckon with a clean drive someone will get that time down to a 1.15, maybe a 1.14

TT- Rbull 1:17.705 (1684 position in oline leaderboard (updated 9/11/12) )

Sure I was ten seconds quicker in the previous game

I gave your set up a go on the xbox, was nice and tight in the slower corners but given the down force on it, it was very loose at high speed and DRS in the tunnel was impossible (for me any way). So I changed the brakes, alignment and gearbox to my posted setting and found the car a lot more stable at high speed and still great in the tight turns. With modification to your setup i managed a 1:19.xx with little practice and having hit the walls a couple of times through braking too late.

Great set-up to tinker to your own style I think

Thats what I mean I know people better at the game will get better times on same set-up as me. Its feed back i'm after. Tried quite a few set-ups but with the joypad I'm struggling a bit to keep the car stable and my wheel just aint playing with this 2012 at all. Cheers for the feedback

I understand, thats alright.

I just tried yours a quick couple of laps, and I think your gearing is making a massive differnce. I just equaled my own time with it and got dragged along the bay wall costing me at least a second maybe two.

Cool. I sometimes have difficulty on that chicane near the bay. You just gotta clip the apexes right and not accelerate early. At first, I kept on crashing and bashing into the walls there.

I tend to clip the curb on the end of the wall on it myself. I'm guessing your set-ups are more aimed at the longer races with tyre and fuel simulation on. Never the less your set up drives nice, just a bit slippery for me in the corners

Fair enough, my set ups are usually based on Tyre Wear but setting quick times.

Finally I fix this. Not perfect but quite enough for Legend AI.

Pole Pos - 1:16,0 on Prime! Q3 - very easy, didnt push at all.

Race: 2nd lap was fastest 1:18,2 and other 76 laps just save car and tyres. 20 secs gap by first 15 laps. After 45th lap rain was coming. 2-3 secs/lap advantage on wet!
Obviously, 4 stops full dry race stretegy is good. At the finish I had 1 minute gap and didnt lap only top5.

Slight modification to previously posted setup. Thanks to EnvoyExtreme for the gear ratio settings (his work not mine)

If you like like a grippy setup, or are new to F1 2012, this setup may be useful to you. Beware of the bay wall after the chicane, momentarily let off power and steering as you hit the bump or you'll find yourself rubbing the outside wall
