  1. Well by the end of season two I found I was 95% maxed out on upgrades so going into seasons 3/4 I just tend to do small adjustments on set-ups to get the best out of a maxed out car. I have been using Honda as my engine supplier, I can’t see changing engine supplier for a new season making significant differences to how you set up the car in game (although it potentially would in real life!). I will do a switch of engine supplier when I finish season 4 to see if there’s any effect on how a maxed car behaves and performs.

This set up won’t suit you if you are to hard and heavy on controls and I’d guess it’s quicker for manual gears on a wheel but I have never tried a controller with auto.

The first long sequence of corners after turn 1 is where so much time is lost, if you are using your brakes through these you are losing time!

  13. This is normal career mode where you select a team to drive for (not my team) so I went with a good mid field team - McLaren. It’s worth experimenting with different set ups on any of the game modes to find what works best for you even in different seasons of career modes for example getting a good lap time set up for the My Team season 1 car with very few upgrades is different from the season 2 car with a good amount of upgrades, so I’d recommend adjusting your set ups and your driving style a little if you need to as you progress in your career mode as a car with poor chassis/aero/PU will need a bit of a different approach to a car with good chassis/aero/PU to optimise your lap times and race handling characteristics. Use the set ups on here and make them your own using the practice programs in career mode.
  14. Great for Season 2, fast for Quali, and stable to race.
  15. Great on Season 2, just lowered front & rear ride height by one but if you prefer more stability just leave it.
