This one came in to solve a very particular problem my car had: silly me went all-in in drag reduction and somewhat neglected downforce upgrades on the aero department and weight reduction upgrades on the chassis upgrade tree. This means that the 2-5 springs coupled with the 4-4 ride height was the softest and lowest I could afford to go without scraping the bottom against the tarmac. For those unaware, when that happens (you even hear a distinct metallic sound and see sparks flying everywhere), your diffuser stalls and your cars loses so much downforce... Barcelona is a trick track with corners of varying speeds. There are two notorious high speed ones though: T3 and T9. Two high speed right handers. T9 is even trickier as it is a uphill one. And as most of you probably know as even Jeff cannot shut up about it, both of them can be taken flat out on the throttle. The thing with high speed corners is that yes, your mechanical balance (suspension and suspension geometry) still plays an important role, but most of it will be dictated by your aero balance. And my car was severely compromised in this aspect. So I made a point of building a setup to account for my deficiencies and make it possible to take those turns with wide open throttle consistently. That explains: The front camber, as I needed grip in the front axle for it to make the car turn properly on corner entry. When you don't have enough grip on the front you understeer and in this high speed and long corners you cannot afford it. The front toe, slightly below average for the track. Yes, front toe helps tremendously in jerking your car out of inertia and into the corner on corner entry, when you input steering lock into it, but it has a drawback that is not often seen: on long corners, after the swift entry the high front toe angle will make the inner side of the tyres drag so much against the movement axis of the car that it will give you understeer. When you have understeer mid corner and don't ease up on the steering lock soon enough, as soon as the front catches up again after the apex you'll get snap oversteer. One more reason I preferred to run with more negative front camber. The rear toe. I was never big fan of toe in, but here it was key to achieve a better lap time. Toe in in the driven axle gives you stability specially when you're trying to put power down. Meaning with this increased rear toe I was able to get on the throttle earlier and harder than running with 0.23 or 0.26. For the tyres, what I got with this setup was as follows: Not ideal but at the end I simply run out of time on the practice sessions to tweak my pressures properly.

They stopped making sense even to me after a while. That's just a sample to give a glimpse at what happened to tyre wear after I settled on a setup and started fiddling only with tyre pressure.

Results as follow (don't mind the colorful highlights, they stopped making sense even to me after a while): Looks like tyre degradation due to temps were not a big issue, so increasing the pressure overall to dampen the wear from the rubber's flexing and track abrasion was more beneficial. I may consider increasing the Rear Wing angle to 6 though. I feel like turns 5 and 7 are "flat outable" but it was tough to make them so consistently. I play on a pad though, so there's that. If you fancy increasing the RW, I'd suggest stiffening the Rear ARB and/or the Rear Springs by 1-2 clicks. Rear camber and toe could be revisited too.
