I did a 1:25.984 (Q3 ultra softs) with this set-up (Haas) but I put the diff up to 75% due to oversteer on the gas out of corners.

Drives really good, at least for me. I like putting more downforce on the rear because it really helps settle the car when really pushing in Qualifying or late in the race. You can get on the gas a lot quicker.

Hi Everyone, i'm having a few problems, (as in getting my arse kicked by a mate using redbull lol) does anyone have any good settings for Mclaren with a wheel setup at all? 

may be a long shot but ill give it a go lol

Unfortunately honda engine is very bad so my best lap (Pro Career, elite level / FP1 / SS tyres / 10kg fuel / rich fuel mix) was 1.30.345. I could make some corners better but no miracles... Maybe on US I could go below the 1.30...

Thanks AGAZ, NitroThunder & Gatesco. I'm new to F1 console racing, just starting this week. Slightly altering the F1 2017 default setup "Balanced" for McLaren-Honda, I was able to reach 129.888, 129.587 & 129.247 (Q1, Q2, Q3) at Melbourne. Adapting AGAZ's Red Bull setup to the McLaren chassis I achieved times of 128.922 & 128.539 in the first 2 laps. There is definitely more time available to be gained. The Honda engine is the weakest in the field, but the McLaren chassis ranks just under Mercedes and Ferrari. While upgrades will help through the seasons, the chassis already offers something to build upon in handling improvement. My modification of AGAZ's Redbull setup is below. With practice I hope to push lap times into the low 127's, even before upgrades to the engine.

Usually, I'm below average at Australia but with Your setup, I was able to finish in 4th in a Sauber. I had qualified in 8th. Great setup with lovely car handling. Thanks  ton for the setup.

I s there a better set up for the McLaren. Its a great Formula car, but the set up stinks especially on the Australian track. And it seems like the control of the car can be better
