Tony Aaron II
I changed the wings to 4,6 and got a TON of speed back in the straights and didn't feel like I lost any control over the car. Do you know about people saying having the front wing -2 of the back wing adds speed on F1 2018, @James? I reduced my differential to 50-60 & slightly lifting off the throttle. This was my only part where I kept scratching my head on. I never faced such an issue with Spa in F1 2017! Flompen
Here is my solution for everyone spinning of in eau rouge, works fine for me even on non grippy tires and second class car. But none the less be careful when turning right up the hill, with a little feeling it's pretty easy now. Should work for most people well: Team: Toro Rosso Honda Lap Time: 1:49.034 Race Mode: Career on Medium Tyre! I'm not sure if it's the suspension or the geometry that keeps damaging the rear wing as soon as you pass the smallest of bumps or at Eau Rouge. (Williams, damage set to simulation) Which means no DRS, and an unpredictable rear part of the car in S2 which traduces on a useless lap. Edit: For others facing the issue of slamming or spinning at the curve, remember to not aggressively just turn the wheel, Eau Rouge is just about finesse, the slightest of turns only and you can easily clear the curve with the default setup or James' setup which is a slightly tweaked default setup. MochiWaffle407
So, after a bit of tinkering I came up with this one; beware, you need to take care into Eau Rouge not to just steer hard or you will eat the wall on your right since you have a lot of oversteer. You can brake late on most corners, but take some care at the bus stop or you'll lose valuable time in S3. You won't get pole most likely, but you'll be consistent and keep your tyres fresh. Managed P9 launching from P20 (penalty) with Williams. Hi mate! I think the main reason or most important thing is to improve the ride height for the long race because the car will be pushed down massively especially with full tank and the weight. I have no damage with this setting in this passage. Maybe u play around a little further with this for the Williams chassis. U really need to turn just slightly to get through On 9/1/2018 at 4:32 PM, DatChickenErnie said: Really good setup mate Thanks mate 😊
