Note

Took me some time to fine tune this set up as P2 was only representable session as P1 and P3 was 35 degrees C plus. Consistently got low to mid 1:35s in quali sim plus Q1, Q2 and first 2 laps in Q3. However, on last run, clipped every kerb and rode on them like a beauti and got my first time in 1:34s.

Race was a bit difficult but thankfully, there was 3 safety cars. Lap 10 after Kimi had puncture, so putted SS on. On Lap 35, my team mate retired and caused SC to come out. Putted US on and ran to the end by driving like hell to get P3.

A hard track for me but good setup what so ever. Managed a 1:36.496 but got outqualified by my teammate by 3 tenths. Started 8th (13th without penalties) and finished 7th. Could have finished 6th (3 positions behind Leclerc) but DRS got stuck open so had to pit earlier to fix it...

Fastest and most stable set-up with Pad for Toro Rosso.

BIG THANKS for this setup.  I used this setup with a few minor tweaks on my career mode McLaren and it was great.  I kept touching the kerbs and spinning out when coming out of one of the high speed turns at first but I raised the car height and it worked great.

Minor changes made were:

 Aerodynamics
Front Wing Aero: 7
Rear Wing Aero: 6

Transmission
Differential Adjustment On Throttle: 80%
Differential Adjustment Off throttle: 75%

Suspension (THIS WAS THE DIFFERENCE MAKER FOR ME<, it went over the one kerb I had difficulty avoiding as if it wasn't there)
Front Ride Height: 5
Rear Ride Height: 6

I'm not that good, and still just posted 1:35.610 on carreer. A bit tricky on S3, but really fast.

Why you changed to Mercedes for the last race ? Or is it wrong team name ? I followed your Sauber setting for the whole season (with some little changes). Thanks for that, they were great !

Sorry just noticed my mistake. I always been with Sauber but forgot to change it.

I just cannot get a setup that works for my Sauber on this track. I loved this race in F1-2017, but this year it is wracking my brain. The lack of acceleration out of corners seems to be the issue ... Thoughts?? Is there a certain way to race this track?

I been getting same issue. Especially on exit of turn 7 onto long straight. Lost time on acceleration but then made up going down. I think it just the change of handling from 2017 to 18 where it made it more challenging. I am either spinning back wheels, going wide as result going on to early or just slow.

He's building Sauber set ups. It's a great place to start. I don't know about Haas. I ought to pay the man😁

It's a good setup but the car was quite twitchy over the kerbs, especially in sector 3. The car used o get nervous riding over the kerbs. Otherwise, rest was good.
