skid in rainy weather

When i drive in rainy weather, i always go in collision, my car slips, skids, when i reduce the accelerator is the same thing, i understand nothing. I tried to reduce the differential thinking it was the cause but it remains unchanged. I don't know what to do anymore. Does it come from my settings? Should i lower the differential? I always set the differential to 100% using a gamepad.
Do you have any tips for practicing in the rain? When do i have to brake, re-accelerate...? Moreover, when i turn lightly without being abrupt, i go for a spin.
