Guest Posted October 17, 2014 Report Share Posted October 17, 2014 I suggest the following setup for people who make a long race (100% or, maybe, 50%), because it is not the fastest setup possible for a hot lap (i do not use it online!), but I find that it is the best compromise for the preservation of tyres and performance. It is important for me that I can do 2 (not 3) pit-stops, using two times the soft tyres during the race. Aerodynamics Front Wing Angle: 3 Rear Wing Angle: 2 Braking Balance: F 48% - R 52% Pressure: High Brake Size: Standard Balance Front Anti-Roll Bar: 5 Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 7 Suspension Front Ride Height: 1 Rear Ride Height: 2 Front Spring Stiffness: 10 Rear Spring Stiffness: 7 Engine Fuel Map: - Alignment Camber Front: -2.50 Camber Rear: -0.70 Toe Front: 0.15 Toe Rear: 0.50 Notes: -tried with Ferrari in career mode -qualy timing: 1:36:125 (Q1 - prime), 1:35:837 (Q2 - prime), 1:34:892 (Q3 - otpion). -best lap during the race: 1:35:034 (lap 44 - option) -no traction control and abs - I suggest to do NOT use this setup with the 3rd fuel map (high), above all when you have prime or some degradation on tyres. -without traction control, be careful with the oversteering at the first corner B) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Marussia often has an unstable rear end, so I tried to focus on making a balanced car. Qualified 12th with the set up above (1.36.998 3tenths off 10th) but changed the Front Spring Stiffness to 8 and the Rear to 7. Xbox Gamer, Expert Al, ABS off, TC on Medium.
